NN.Chris & Lauren Lane Welcome Baby Girl — 2025’s Country Music Baby Boom Is Officially Here!

These country music families have grown!
Some of country music’s most heartfelt songs have been inspired by parenthood. Kenny Chesney’s “There Goes My Life,” Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl,” and Trace Adkins’ “You’re Gonna Miss This” are a few examples of these emotional songs that tug on the heartstrings.
While pursuing a career in country music, many artists pursue another dream – building a family. Read on to see a list of country musicians who have welcomed babies so far in 2025!
Shay Mooney
Shay Mooney, one-half of Grammy-winning duo Dan + Shay, welcomed his fourth child with wife Hannah Billingsley on January 20th, 2025. The baby boy, Aubrey Ellis Mooney, joined older siblings Asher James, Ames Alexander, and Abram Shay.
The proud parents shared that the new addition arrived perfectly healthy and added, “Thank you Jesus for another miracle!”
Emmy Russell
Emmy Russell, granddaughter of country music icon Loretta Lynn, welcomed her first child with her fiancé, Tyler Ward, on January 31st, 2025. The couple kept the name of their baby girl private for nearly a month, but eventually shared that her name is Taylor Raydient Ward.
The pair later revealed that they had secretly wed before their daughter’s arrival.
Laine Hardy
American Idol alum Laine Hardy announced his engagement to Jordan Gautreau and that they were expecting on the same day. They welcomed a baby boy, Hollis James Hardy, on February 21st, 2025, and wrote, “We are over the moon about this little boy. An absolute gift from God. Let the adventure begin!”
The pair later married in an intimate Louisiana ceremony.
HARDY
Country rocker HARDY and his wife Caleigh welcomed their first child, Rosie Ryan Hardy, on March 7th, 2025. After announcing their pregnancy in October 2024, the pair shared sweet updates along the way, including their gender reveal and a sneak peek at the nursery.
The picture-perfect baby girl was born weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces.
Randall King
Texas country singer Randall King welcomed his daughter, Paisley Leanna King, with his fiancée, Brittany Warthan, on April 3rd, 2025. Upon her arrival, he wrote:
“What a joy it is to be a father! I’ve dreamt of being able to start a family for so long, and now here we are in this beautiful new chapter of life.”
Jesse Keith Whitley
Jesse Keith Whitley, son of Keith Whitley and Lorrie Morgan, welcomed his son, Konrad Thomas Whitley, on April 12th, 2025. Jesse has two daughters, Kimber Rose and Kallie Rayne, with his wife Kristen, as well as a son, Jackie Keith Whitley, from a previous relationship.
The new baby’s middle name, Thomas, was chosen in honor of Jesse’s grandfather, George Morgan, who also shared the same middle name.

Gary Stanton
Gary Stanton, of the group Muscadine Bloodline, welcomed his first child, Remi Grace Stanton, with his wife, Ashley. Born on April 25th, 2025, Remi weighed seven pounds and ten ounces. The new parents wrote:
“Our sweet Remi girl! We love you so much, you have changed our lives forever.”
Sam Hunt
Alabama native Sam Hunt quietly welcomed his third child with his wife, Hannah, on May 21st, 2025. The baby boy, named Weyman Allen Hunt, joined older sister Lucy and brother Lowry.
The Hunts largely keep their children off the internet, and their local church announced the arrival of the new baby online.

Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel cancelled his performances during the opening weekend of HARDY’s Jim Bob World Tour due to a “family medical event.” Fans later learned that his girlfriend, Bailey Fisher, had gone into labor.
The pair welcomed a baby girl, Woods Madison Wetzel, on May 23rd, 2025. Bailey described her daughter as, “my whole heart outside of my body.”
Lauren Alaina
American Idol alum and Grand Ole Opry member Lauren Alaina welcomed her first child with husband Cam Arnold on June 11th, 2025. The baby girl is named Beni Doll Arnold in memory of beloved family members who have passed.
Along with the arrival of her daughter, Lauren dropped a new song, “Heaven Sent,” inspired by the experience of becoming a mother after the loss of her father.
Jordan Davis
Jordan Davis welcomed his fourth child with his wife, Kristen, on July 1st, 2025. The new daughter, Sadie, joins older siblings Eloise, Locklan, and Elijah.
Jordan announced her arrival the following day and wrote, “We’re back home and the kids are obsessed with their new baby sister.”
Travis Denning
Rising star Travis Denning is married to Madison Montgomery, the daughter of country music icon John Michael Montgomery. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Charlotte Lane Denning, on July 13th, 2025.
The first song that baby Charlotte ever heard after making her debut was none other than “Rope the Moon” by her grandfather.
Hillary Scott
Lady A’s Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, welcomed their fourth daughter on July 25th, 2025. Selah Jean joins three big sisters, Eisele Kay (12), and twins Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack (7).
The proud parents shared with PEOPLE, “Her name means ‘pause and reflect’ and ‘God is gracious,’ and in the few short days she’s been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases.”
Cole Swindell
Cole Swindell and his wife, Courtney, welcomed their first child just over a year after they wed. Rainey Gale Swindell made her debut on August 7th, 2025. The name Rainey comes from Cole’s mom, who passed away in 2021.
The new parents described their bundle of joy as “our greatest blessing.”
Charles Kelley
One third of Lady A, Charles Kelley, is now a father of two. He welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Cassie, on September 16th. Archer Lancaster Kelley joins his older brother, Ward, who was born in 2016.
They described the new addition as “our little miracle” and said, “We are so thankful to get to be his mom and dad, and to share the joy with his big brother, Ward, who is over the moon!”
Scotty McCreery
American Idol alum and Grand Ole Opry member Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi welcomed their first son, Avery, in October 2022. On September 18th, they became a family of four.
The McCreerys introduced their new son to the world and wrote, “Oliver Cooke McCreery joined our family on September 18th. Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!!“
The berry pun is a callback to when Avery had asked to name the baby after his favorite treat at Bojangles, the Bo-Berry Biscuit.
Ian Munsick
Wyoming native Ian Munsick and his wife, Caroline, shared the happy news that their baby girl, Roan Autumn Munsick, was born on September 20th at 10:58 p.m. Weighing 7 lbs, 12oz, and measuring 20 inches long, she donned a knitted onesie embroidered with her name in her first photos. Roan joins her older brother Crawford, who was born in 2020.
Cody Johnson
“‘Til You Can’t” singer Cody Johnson subtly announced the birth of his third child during an appearance on Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton. According to Cody, Jaycee Daniel Johnson was born on October 21st. He said, “I finally got my boy. He and mom are here at the house, and they’re healthy & happy. It was a wonderful experience.”
Baby Jaycee joins big sisters Clara Mae (10) and Cori (8).

Chris Lane
Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren, welcomed their first daughter, Logan Lane, on November 11th. The newest addition makes them a family of five, as she joins older brothers Dutton Walker and Baker West.
