RM Cardi B and Nicki Minaj get into a brutal fight at an event: one gets a shoe thrown at her, the other has her wig pulled off and her dress torn!
A shocking fight has just broken out between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS fashion event in New York. In videos shared online, Cardi B can be seen taking off her shoe and throwing it at Nicki. At one point, part of Cardi’s wig was even pulled off.

Sources at the party said that while Nicki was taking photos with Kelly Rowland and La La Anthony, Cardi walked past. Nicki allegedly stepped on the hem of Cardi’s dress on purpose. Cardi then immediately threw her shoe at Nicki. In the video, viewers can see Cardi taking off her shoe and hear the sound of it hitting someone — possibly Nicki, or perhaps some unfortunate security guard.

However, another witness interviewed by TMZ told a different version of the story. According to this account, the incident happened while Nicki was sitting at a table with her team. Cardi approached Nicki’s table looking aggressive. A source close to Cardi said that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper did not intend to start a fight, but only wanted to confront Nicki about “some false rumors that Nicki had been spreading.” However, a security guard elbowed Cardi B in the face as she approached, which caused the fight to erupt.
When Cardi left the party, she had a noticeable bump on her forehead, her dress was torn, and she was barefoot.

According to People magazine, no one was arrested after the fight, but New York police were present at the scene and stated that “the investigation is ongoing.”
The night marked the 5th annual #BAZAARICONS event. Stars such as Lady Gaga and The Weeknd performed at the party. Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid had just walked the red carpet before the fight between Nicki and Cardi broke out. Guests on the upper level were preparing to watch a performance by Christina Aguilera.
