gs. Dez Bryant pitches George Pickens on signing contract extension with Dallas Cowboys

For the first time in a few weeks, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens shared the field. Results remained about the same, though, as the Dallas Cowboys offense rolled against the Washington Commanders. A sight we are getting used to seeing, no matter which receivers are out there.

But even with all of the current success, questions about the future remain. Pickens is a free agent at the end of the year after being traded over from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Plenty in Dallas want Pickens to remain, including former star Dez Bryant.

“Let’s get George now,” Bryant said Sunday on 105.3 The Fan. “Let’s wrap him up now. Like, at the end of the day, why not? He loves being here. At the end of the day, I think he loves it… I would tell George, straight up. ‘I guarantee you, brother, it won’t be like this nowhere else. You & CeeDee, you guys are dynamic. Stay together, grow together, go into the HOF together. Dak (Prescott), CeeDee, George.’ It’s beautiful. I can see that.”

Pickens is setting himself up for a nice payday, no matter which team provides the contract. Sunday broke a five-game streak of having a touchdown but he still got 82 yards and four receptions. Multiple penalties were drawn due to Pickens too, putting the Cowboys in great position.

In total, the yardage sits at 607 yards through seven games played. Pickens has six touchdowns on the season and is averaging 16.9 yards per catch. It’s on pace to be a record campaign in almost every major category for a wide receiver. Exactly what you want during a contract year.

As of Monday, Pickens has a market value of over $145 million over five years per Spotrac. This would put him just under $30 million a year and among the highest-paid in football. Lamb recently signed a mega extension of his own, meaning the Cowboys would have a ton of resources invested into two wide receivers.

“I wouldn’t mind it,” Pickens said when asked if he would re-sign with Dallas. “The guys in the locker room are super cool, the energy is great. I always want to showcase my talents.”

For now, all attention for the Cowboys is on the upcoming game against the Denver Broncos. They are hoping the high-powered offense travels well into the Mile High City when facing off vs. one of the NFL’s top defenses.

Micah Parsons of Green Bay Packers: A Quiet Gesture that Speaks Volumes – Why His Act of Kindness on a Flight is Shaping His Legacy

Green Bay, WI — October 11, 2025— In a world obsessed with stats, championships, and headlines, it’s rare to find a moment that transcends the game itself. But that’s exactly what Micah Parsons of the Green Bay Packers delivered this week, and the story is resonating across social media, turning the spotlight on him for reasons far beyond football.

Parsons, who has quickly become one of the most dominant and respected linebackers in the NFL, was caught in a viral moment this week that has left fans and fellow athletes alike in awe. The incident occurred not on the football field, but rather aboard a commercial flight from Green Bay, where Parsons made a seemingly small but profoundly meaningful gesture that reminded everyone of what true leadership and character really look like.

A Quiet Act of Respect

According to multiple witnesses, just moments before takeoff, Parsons — dressed casually in a hoodie and baseball cap — was seated in first class when an elderly man in a U.S. veteran cap was escorted down the aisle. Without hesitation, Parsons stood up, offered his seat, and urged the veteran to take it. The veteran initially refused, but Parsons insisted with a smile and quietly moved to an economy seat without making a scene.

However, what came next made this moment even more special. After relocating to his new seat, Parsons didn’t seek attention or bask in any praise. Instead, he spent the next few minutes helping fellow passengers with their luggage, offering assistance to families, and even helping a mother calm her crying baby. According to flight attendants, Parsons “was just helping — quietly, gently, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.”

This modest act, captured by no cameras and recorded by no media outlets, was a reflection of Parsons’ personality both on and off the field — humble, genuine, and compassionate. “He wasn’t drawing attention to himself,” one witness noted. “He was just being a good person.”

A Ripple of Kindness: The Flight Cabin Responds

As Parsons continued his quiet service, passengers began to take notice. Within minutes, murmurs spread across the cabin, and then, a spontaneous show of admiration erupted. Fellow passengers started chanting his name: “Parsons! Parsons!” The reaction was overwhelming — applause, cheers, and even tears filled the plane as everyone realized the full extent of Parsons’ kindness.

What made this moment even more impactful was the deep connection it forged with those onboard. One passenger shared a poignant reflection, writing on social media, “No cameras. No PR stunt. Just pure class.”

This simple truth set social media ablaze, with fans across the world praising Parsons for showing the kind of leadership that cannot be measured in sacks or tackles for loss.
