The singer-songwriter has just made history by becoming the youngest woman to ever be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The official induction will take place on June 11. She will join a 2026 class that also includes Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Alanis Morissette and Tricky Stewart, among others.
From getting her first publishing deal at 14, to stacking 13 Billboard No. 1’s throughout her career, you could argue her latest achievement is her greatest so far. What’s scary is that Swift is still only 36 and has decades left at the top of the industry. That is, if she chooses to remain in the public eye for that long, of course.
Unfortunately for Swift, the announcement comes at a bad time. She’s currently embroiled in a drama that involves both Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. And that drama shows no sign of cooling off any time soon.

After the Kansas City Chiefs failed to make it to the 2026 Super Bowl, Travis Kelce found himself facing a monumental career decision: Is it time for him to retire? He’s expected to make a decision by early March.
According to a source close to the couple, who spoke with The Daily Mail, Swift is trying to be supportive and is limiting the amount of wedding plans she’s throwing at the 36-year-old.
“(She is) trying to put [Kelce] in a better mood by spending more time with him and not bombarding him with wedding plans,” the source said. “[She] would want him to focus on [the wedding] after he makes his career decision because she knows how important that is to him. And she doesn’t want the stress of planning their wedding to ‘come between them. She is focusing on positivity right now, but she wants him to be in a place where he is happy because at the end of the day, that will make them happy.”
No matter what Kelce decides to do, Swift will have his back. After all, they’re one of the biggest power couples on the planet. And that usually means being a supportive system for each other. Even if it slows down preparations for what will be a phenomenal wedding.
