TT Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Have First Award Show Date Night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift made her first major public appearance of 2026 at the iHeartRadio Music Awards March 26, where she is nominated for nine awards including Song of the Year for “Fate of Ophelia.”
All that time Taylor Swift sat alone in her tower, she was just honing her powers.
Case in point: The “Fate of Ophelia” singer stepped out at the iHeartRadio Music Awards March 26, marking her first major public appearance of 2026—and the first time she’s brought Travis Kelce to an entertainment award show for a date night.
Taylor hit the red carpet in a mint green velvet two-piece from Wiederhoeft’s fall winter 2026 collection, featuring a corset top bedazzled with golden glass beads. The 36-year-old—whose fiancé skipped the carpet but was spotted by her side in the audience—topped off the look with strappy heels, opting for minimal glam with a soft nude lip and halfback hairstyle. Of course, it’s no surprise Taylor chose this occasion to make her return to the public eye as she is up for a whopping nine awards at the ceremony, including Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” as well as Artist of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year.
Trust, the Eras Tour is the gift that keeps on giving for Taylor, as she is also up for Favorite On Screen for her Disney+ End of An Era documentary, not to mention Favorite Tour Style for her on stage looks at the record-breaking concert series.
Taylor’s appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards marks her first since she attended in 2023, shortly after kicking off The Eras Tour—and just before her love story with Travis began. During that occasion, the 36-year-old accepted The Innovator Award, an honor that will this year go to Miley Cyrus.
“I’m really flattered by this award,” Taylor said after accepting the trophy from then-tour mate Phoebe Bridgers. “Thank you so much to iHeart for giving this to me.”

And while she was amid rerecording her albums—she went on to purchase her master recordings in 2025—and another historic feat with the Eras Tour, Taylor detailed how she “never” thought she could accept such an honor.
“I never, a single time, woke up in the morning and thought, ‘You know what I’m going to do today? I’m gonna go innovate some stuff,’” Taylor joked. “But what I did do was try to make the right decision for me at the time, whether or not it had ever been successfully done before.”

Her career has proven it was always worth the risk of failing. As Taylor went on to emphasize, “The coolest ideas or moves or choices are the new ones, or the ones that set a new precedent.”
