BB.EMOTIONAL SAD NEWS: 49ers Fan Passes Away After Week 10 Game Against Rams – Offensive Star Visits Family, Donates $100,000 To Help Cover Medical & Funeral Expenses!
Santa Clara, CA – Authorities are searching for a 32-year-old 49ers fan who went missing after attending 49ers–Rams matchup at Levi’s Stadium.
Ian Powers, 32, was in the Bay Area visiting relatives in Antioch while traveling from Spokane, Washington, to Los Angeles with his girlfriend. They attended the 49ers–Rams game on Sunday, where Powers reportedly left his seat during the fourth quarter to use the bathroom, and never returned.
According to his girlfriend, Powers texted her several times after the game ended and even attempted a video call, but she was never able to reconnect with him in person. That was the last time anyone heard from him.

“It’s incredibly unlike him,” said Sean Powers, Ian’s uncle. “He’s the most responsible person in our family.”
Santa Clara Police Captain Wahid Kazem confirmed that there has been no further email activity, no phone activity, and no financial activity
from Powers since he went missing.“We’re really asking the public for help,” Kazem said.
Powers’ girlfriend reported him missing on Tuesday when he did not return to their hotel. Nearly
40 law-enforcement officers were deployed for the search. His car was later found in a nearby parking lot.

Investigators confirmed that Powers had been intoxicated that night, but family members say such a disappearance is completely out of character.
The 49ers organization has released a statement saying the team is fully cooperating with the investigation and offering complete support to the family.
Body Found Near Alviso Marina
The Santa Clara Police Department later confirmed that a body found in the low-tide waters near Alviso Marina on Saturday belonged to
Ian Powers.
A group of duck hunters first reported spotting a body face-down in the water. Rescue divers recovered the remains, and the coroner ruled the cause of death as
salt-water drowning, calling the incident a tragic accident.
According to multiple sources, 49ers superstar pass rusher Nick Bosa immediately reached out to the grieving family upon hearing the news.
Bosa visited them in person, offering condolences and emotional support during what he called “an unimaginable loss.”
He also donated $100,000 to help cover funeral costs and support the family during this difficult time.
A family member said Bosa’s gesture “meant more than he’ll ever know.”
49ers fans across social media have been posting tributes, condolences, and messages of support under the hashtag #JusticeForIan
and #FaithfulFamily. Many praised both the police effort and Nick Bosa’s compassion, saying it reflects the tight-knit bond within the 49ers community.
The Powers family is asking for continued prayers as they navigate this tragic loss.
