bv. The oil war is far from over — Landman is officially roaring back for season 3. After a jaw-dropping season 2 finale that left audiences stunned and asking whether the story had reached its end, the answer has arrived loud and clear: Landman is not done. Paramount+ has confirmed the hit drama’s renewal, proving that the fallout from last season was only the beginning, not the conclusion. Created by Taylor Sheridan and led by a commanding performance from Billy Bob Thornton, the series has grown into one of Paramount+’s biggest and most talked-about successes. At the center of it all, Tommy Norris’ story remains unfinished, with his choices continuing to ripple through a brutal industry where loyalty is fragile and power never stays put for long. As season 3 approaches, the balance of power is shifting, alliances are splintering, and the stakes are higher than ever. With more danger, ambition, and inevitable consequences waiting in the ruthless world of West Texas oil, the next chapter promises to push every character to the edge…

Will there be a third season of Landman?
The second season of Landman has just wrapped up with a jaw-dropping finale, but will the hit Paramount+ drama continue?
Landman has taken viewers by storm with a riveting and often divisive second season over the past three months.
Starring Billy Bob Thornton as M-Tex Oil President Tommy Norris, the series has put his family through the wringer this time around as well as seeing him fired by his new boss, Cami Miller (played by Demi Moore).
While his son Cooper (Jacob Lofland) is accused of murder for defending his partner Ariana (Paulina Chavez) against an attacker, Tommy’s daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) slowly gets to grips with the unexpected demands of college life.
Meanwhile, Tommy resorts to desperate measures to get his career back on track.
After already turning down an enticing offer from cartel boss Danny ‘Gallino’ Morrell (Andy Garcia) twice, he decides to strike a deal with the shady investor to start his own oil company, naming Cooper as president.

Following a promising start to a new chapter of the hit Taylor Sheridan drama, millions of Landman fans are now eager to find out if the series will return for a third season.
Will there be a Landman season 3?
Fans are in luck as the hit Paramount+ drama was already renewed for a third season back in December 2025.
This is likely to do with the fact that the series received a huge boost in viewership last year, scoring 9.2 million streaming views for the season two premiere in its first two days of release.
It was an incredible 262 percent increase on the first season finale, with the episode becoming the most-watched premiere for any original series on the streaming platform.

Although this should be enough to give the audience confidence in Landman’s future, doubts were raised when creator Sheridan inked a deal with NBCUniversal, causing speculation he could cut ties with Paramount.
However, this deal won’t be starting until 2029, according to Deadline, so Landman’s longevity is secured for at least the next few years.
As for when fans might see the next episodes, there is sadly no release window confirmed for Landman season three just yet.

Sam Elliot, who was added to the cast this season as Tommy’s father Thomas ‘T. L.’ Norris, recently indicated to ExtraTV that filming could start back up in April or May this year.
This hopefully means that Landman’s third season will once again premiere in November, in line with previous instalments.
Landman is available to stream on Paramount+.
