A Mother’s Prayer: Jazzy’s Journey Through Brain Surgery
Yesterday was a day of mixed emotions, a day we will forever cherish and hold close to our hearts. Today, our sweet Jazzy is going into a long and complex brain surgery, one that is expected to last over ten hours. Surgeons will be working meticulously to remove three large tumors from her brain, as well as portions of her skull to ensure she has the best chance for recovery. Just writing those words, seeing them on paper, feels so overwhelming. No parent should ever have to prepare for a day like this, and the reality of it hits us harder than we ever expected.
