Like Jalen Redmond, Hutchings combines explosive speed with incredible strength. With a 500-pound bench press and a 700-pound squat, he’s not only strong but a nightmare for NFL offenses…1805

Minnesota Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah isn’t wasting any time trying to find players to improve the roster heading into the 2026 season. The latest signing comes from north of the border, as 3 Down Nation’s John Hodge reports the Vikings have signed defensive lineman Jaylon Hutchings to a reserve/futures contract.

Vikings sign All-CFL DL Jaylon Hutchings to reserve/futures contract
On Monday, the Vikings made multiple signings to the 90-man roster, focusing on the offensive side of the football, including three wide receivers and a tight end. Tuesday’s signing came from the Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders.
Hutchings was a first-time starter in 2025 with the Stampeders, and thrived in the role. He played in 17 regular season games for the Stampeders, logging 39 tackles, one forced fumble, and 8.0 sacks. Hutchings is a penetrating pass rusher on the interior, and wreaks havoc consistently.

Hutchings was Pro Football Focus’ top player on defense in the CFL last year, and it’s easy to see why. He made Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List due to a 500 lb bench press and 700 lb squat. His athleticism also comes from playing running back in high school, which is where some of the quickness shows up.

He’s pretty similar profile-wise to another Vikings defensive tackle in Jalen Redmond: a gap-shooter with powerful hands who can knock offensive linemen on their butts. It’s also pretty similar in idea when you look at how they were acquired. Redmond was signed to be the 90th man on the roster in June of 2024 from the UFL’s Arlington Renegades. Hutchings is signed a little bit earlier than that, but it’s still a high-upside shot the Vikings are trading.
Last season, Adofo-Mensah signed offensive tackle Trevor Reid from the CFL, who was the Edmonton Elks’ Most Outstanding Rookie nominee in 2024. He didn’t make it to training camp and was released with an injury designation, but the idea of signing a high-upside player remains.
If Hutchings comes in and balls out, the Vikings might have found another diamond in the rough.
BREAKING: Aaron Judge Leaves MLB in Silence — Yankees Captain Secretly Raises Over 50 Orphans, “I Never Wanted Them to Feel the Loneliness I Did”

In a shocking revelation that has taken the sports world by storm, Aaron Judge, the captain of the New York Yankees, has quietly shared a deeply personal truth that transcends his incredible feats on the baseball diamond. While fans are familiar with Judge’s towering home runs and his status as an MVP-caliber player, it’s a side of him off the field that is truly inspiring.
In a world where athletes often find themselves in the spotlight for their on-field accomplishments, Judge has chosen to operate quietly, raising more than 50 orphans over the years—a staggering act of love and responsibility that has gone unnoticed until now. His story is one of humble beginnings, shaped by his own experience as an adopted child. Adopted just two days after birth, Judge never defined family by blood ties but instead by love and support.
“I just wanted them to have a more complete childhood than I did,” Judge shared, his voice soft but resolute. “Growing up without a family can be lonely. I never wanted them to feel that loneliness, so I made sure they would always know they were loved and cared for.”
The revelation has stunned the baseball community, with many struggling to process how someone so high-profile has managed to keep such a monumental act of kindness out of the public eye for so long. Behind the power-hitting persona and the captain’s armband that he wears for the Yankees, there lies a heart that chooses to love in silence, far removed from the media circus that surrounds professional athletes.
For Judge, his dedication to raising these children has always been about offering them a future full of love and opportunity—something he felt was missing in his own early years. He never sought accolades or public acknowledgment for his actions. His focus remained solely on giving these children a chance at a life filled with care, stability, and affection, far from the loneliness he once felt.
This revelation has left many fans in awe, as they realize that Judge’s legacy isn’t just defined by his on-field performance but by his off-field character as well. He has become a beacon of hope for those who feel forgotten, showing the world that leadership and greatness go far beyond sports statistics.
While Judge continues to lead his team through every game with unparalleled drive, it’s this profound, personal story that will undoubtedly define his legacy for years to come. In a world often consumed by fame and wealth, Judge’s selfless love for these children has rewritten the script on what it truly means to be a hero.
