Among the tracks featured, one titled The Assassination of Candace Owens has certainly sparked a lot of attention.
The provocative title stood out when The Game unveiled the tracklist for the mixtape, produced by Mike & Keys, leading many to wonder what the song would entail.
Candace Owens, known for her controversial statements, has been claiming on her podcast for weeks that French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, have placed a bounty on her life. The Game told TMZ Hip Hop that he took her conspiracy theories and reimagined them in a metaphorical way for his new track.
Responding on her own podcast, Owens joked, “I hope the lyrics in The Game’s song are chill and it’s not just another diss track. I really hope it’s not like Eminem’s entire album where he’s just crying about me.”
