RM Elon Musk Slams Canadian Hospital After Tragic Death of Indian-Origin Man Due to Negligence

Elon Musk has strongly criticized a Canadian hospital after an Indian-origin man tragically passed away due to alleged medical negligence. The incident involved Prashant Sreekumar, a 44-year-old father of three, who died after waiting for several hours at Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Canada.
In a viral video, Prashant’s wife described how the hospital ignored her husband’s deteriorating condition, even though he was complaining of severe chest pain. Elon Musk responded to the video, stating, “When government-run healthcare is involved, it’s about as efficient as the DMV.”

According to Prashant’s wife, he arrived at the hospital around 12:15 PM and was placed in the triage area shortly after. Despite continuous complaints of chest pain and rising blood pressure — with a final reading of 210 — Prashant was only given Tylenol throughout the wait. The medical staff allegedly downplayed the severity of his condition, dismissing chest pain as a non-urgent issue and not considering the possibility of a heart attack.

Around 8:50 PM, after nearly eight hours of waiting, Prashant collapsed. The nurses reportedly couldn’t detect his pulse when they tried to assess him. Prashant’s wife tearfully accused the hospital’s staff of causing her husband’s death by failing to provide timely medical attention. She also claimed that the hospital security staff were dismissive of her concerns, even going as far as to tell her that she was “being rude” while her husband’s life was slipping away.
The incident has sparked public outrage, with many criticizing the hospital’s negligence and the treatment Prashant’s wife received.
