RM Sydney Sweeney Clears Up Plastic Surgery Rumors in Lie Detector Test

Sydney Sweeney recently addressed ongoing speculation about her appearance during a lie detector test for Vanity Fair, denying rumors that she had undergone breast augmentation.
The Euphoria star was asked by her co-star Amanda Seyfried in a playful moment during the test: “Are your boobs real?” Sweeney, laughing, confidently responded, “Yes.” When Seyfried pressed further, asking if she had ever had any work done on her breasts, Sweeney answered, “No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere.”
The lie detector supervisor confirmed that Sweeney was being truthful in her response.
Seyfried, continuing the lighthearted exchange, jokingly asked if she could touch Sweeney’s breasts, though no physical contact was made. When asked at the end of the interview if she had lied at any point during the test, Sweeney maintained she had not, and the machine confirmed her statement as truthful.

This was not the first time Sweeney addressed the ongoing rumors about plastic surgery. Earlier this week, she spoke to Allure about the subject, stressing that she has never had cosmetic procedures. “I’m so scared of needles, you have no idea,” she told the publication.
She also took aim at those who have compared her current appearance to older photos, fueling plastic surgery speculation. “You guys, you can’t compare a picture of me when I was 12 to one of me at 26 with professional makeup and lighting,” she said. “Of course I look different. Everyone on social media is insane.”

Sweeney added that if she had undergone any procedures, her appearance would be more symmetrical, pointing out that one of her eyelids naturally opens more than the other.
The actress had previously spoken about these rumors in an October interview with Variety, calling out “comparison pictures” that circulate online. “Of course I look different, I’m 15 years older now, and I have makeup on,” she said.

Finally, Sweeney shared that she has no plans to get tattoos and hopes to “age gracefully,” emphasizing her preference for natural beauty over cosmetic changes.
