HH. BREAKING: Adam Thielen bids farewell to Vikings fans in a message that shook Minnesota: “Purple runs through my veins… this isn’t goodbye.”

In a heartfelt message to Minnesota Vikings fans, Adam Thielen said goodbye to the team he’s called home for nearly a decade. The veteran wide receiver shared his emotions after the Vikings granted his request to be released, marking the end of his time with the organization. Thielen’s departure from the team was bittersweet, as the Minnesota native had cemented himself as a fan favorite over the years.

Reflecting on his journey, Thielen shared his deep connection to the team, writing on social media: “To every Minnesota Viking fan, thank you for embracing me as one of your own. From my very first catch to this final chapter, it’s been nothing short of a dream to wear this uniform. The purple runs through my veins, and I will forever carry this team in my heart. This isn’t goodbye — it’s a ‘see you later.'”

Thielen’s statement hit home for many, particularly for long-time Vikings fans who have watched him grow from an undrafted rookie to a Pro-Bowl caliber player. Known for his reliability and clutch performances, Thielen’s journey was a true underdog story. From a small-town Minnesota kid to a key contributor on one of the NFL’s most beloved franchises, Thielen’s success story became a symbol of determination and perseverance.

Thielen spent nine seasons with the Vikings, making a name for himself as one of the league’s most consistent wide receivers. He amassed over 6,000 receiving yards and 50 touchdowns in his career, earning recognition for his leadership both on and off the field. His chemistry with quarterback Kirk Cousins was undeniable, as the two formed a powerful duo for several years. Thielen’s work ethic, passion for the game, and commitment to the community made him a fan favorite in the land of 10,000 lakes.

Though his role had diminished in recent seasons, particularly with the rise of younger receivers like Justin Jefferson, Thielen remained a key presence in the locker room and a reliable option when called upon. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Thielen made it clear that he wasn’t closing the door on his playing career just yet. His desire to contribute to a team with a larger role in the final stretch of his career is what led to this moment.

For the Vikings, Thielen’s departure represents another step in their ongoing rebuilding process as they attempt to navigate a challenging 2025 season. With Thielen now free to pursue opportunities elsewhere, Vikings fans will forever hold a special place for the receiver who helped lead them to several playoff appearances and delivered countless memorable moments.

As Thielen moves on to the next chapter of his career, he leaves behind a legacy that won’t soon be forgotten. His commitment to the Minnesota Vikings will forever be etched in the hearts of fans, and though he’s leaving the field, his connection to the team will remain. For now, it’s not goodbye, but a “see you later.”

Sean Payton Sends Bold Message About RJ Harvey’s Ceiling

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton didn’t hold back when asked about rookie running back RJ Harvey this week.

He delivered one of his strongest public endorsements yet.

Speaking to reporters, Payton smiled and said:

“There’s that saying, ‘You haven’t seen anything yet,’” before adding that Harvey possesses a “rare running skillset.”

That is a bold statement coming from a coach known for elevating running backs and it lands at a time when Harvey is emerging as the Broncos’ unquestioned RB1.

With J.K. Dobbins out for the season, Harvey has stepped into a featured role and steadily climbed the fantasy and real-football ranks.

He enters Week 14 as one of the hottest ascending backs in the league.

Harvey’s Rise Since J.K. Dobbins Went Down

When Dobbins suffered a season-ending foot injury, the Broncos needed someone to stabilize the backfield.

Harvey has done just that.

Since taking over as the lead back, Harvey has dominated playing time in consecutive weeks and delivered his best statistical stretch of the season.

He played 61% of snaps in Week 11 and 47% in Week 13 after he only averaged 29% of snaps through the first 10 weeks.

Through Week 13, Harvey has totaled eight touchdowns, tied for the most among all rookie running backs despite his limited early-season snaps.

His consistency in high-leverage moments has cemented him as Denver’s go-to option.

Last week against the Washington Commanders, Harvey touched the ball 16 times for 62 yards and scored two touchdowns,  including the overtime game-winner.

He posted 21.2 PPR fantasy points, earning Start of the Week honors.

He has become a great fantasy football option because of his pass catching and ability to keep finding the end zone.

The Broncos now face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

This is a defense that has allowed four running backs in the last two weeks to score at least 11.4 PPR points with five total touchdowns

Harvey finds himself in another favorable spot.

Why Sean Payton Believes Harvey Can Be Even Better

Payton’s comments this week hint at a belief that Harvey isn’t close to his ceiling yet.

Calling a rookie’s skillset “rare” is extremely noteworthy

Especially coming from a coach who has built top-tier offenses around dynamic backs that date back to Alvin Kamara, Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush.

Payton’s “you haven’t seen anything yet” remark suggests he sees room for further growth as Harvey gains experience, comfort, and confidence within the Broncos’ scheme.

Harvey’s vision, balance, and pass-catching ability already make him a natural fit for Payton’s offense.

His lack of big rushing games is an area the Broncos think will progress as the offense continues to evolve.

He has yet to surpass 58 yards on the ground but has made up for it through the air and by getting into the end zone.

With Payton offering such strong public praise, the message is clear: Denver believes Harvey can transition from productive rookie to a future star.
