In a recent interview with Los Angeles Times, Pink reflected on her past support for Taylor Swift during the infamous feud between Taylor and Katy Perry. Back then, Pink publicly voiced her allegiance to Taylor in a radio interview in London. When asked which side she was on, Pink didn’t hesitate to respond, “Team Taylor.”
At the time, Pink and Taylor were seen together in a friendly photo, and their relationship seemed warm. However, the 38-year-old artist now admits she regrets getting involved. “I should’ve stayed silent because I didn’t truly believe in it,” Pink confessed. “I felt pressured and didn’t know what to do. The next day, all the news outlets were reporting that Pink was supporting Taylor.”
The ongoing tension between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift has been one of the most talked-about celebrity feuds in the entertainment industry. Both pop stars took jabs at each other through music, social media, and public comments.
Now, as a mother of two, Pink acknowledges that she should have steered clear of such drama. “Things are different now. I don’t want to be involved in any more of that drama or conflict,” she explained.
Pink, who is set to release her new album Beautiful Trauma and a short film titled On the Record: P!nk — Beautiful Trauma on October 13th, also shared that the project would offer an intimate glimpse into her life and career before and after marriage and motherhood.
