According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Trevon Diggs will miss tomorrowās clash with the Vikings on āSunday Night Football.ā Not only that, but Schultz reports that the relationship between Diggs and Dallas has āsouredā and ābeen severed.ā
Since signing a five-year contract extension worth $97 million in 2023, Diggs has been limited to 19 games because of injuries, per Pro Football Reference.
Itās not exactly clear what led to the āseveredā relationship between the two parties. But itās something worth following closely with only four weeks remaining.

The Dallas defense has been a mess since last season, and Diggsā absence is a key reason why. Though heās often burned in coverage, Diggs makes up for it with his elite ball-hawking abilities.
Dallasā defense has predictably regressed following the Micah Parsons blockbuster trade with the rival Green Bay Packers. Add on Diggās injury, and itās just been an all-around forgettable disaster on defense.
